Description
This is Madilore the Maiden and her housecarl, Lydia.Madilore is my Dohvakiin from Skyrim. She grew up on a farm in Whiterun Hold with seven brothers. Her parents taught them all to fight to protect the farm from the many aggressors in Skyrim.
When she became of age, her parents wanted her to marry, but Madilore wanted to spread the word of Talos and honor him through adventure. This is why she was picked up by the Imperials in the begining.
In my mind, she and Lydia were really good friends, despite the fact that Lydia is worthless. This scene is the start of the quest that will eventually kill dear Lydia.... so tragic ...
Took me a few hours to draw this and I was going to make it much more complicated but then I remembered all the other pictures I still have to finish (I'm looking at you Epic Dragon Age Picture that I've redone countless times). I like Madilore's skin and the fur particularly well.
Alright, there's my first Skyrim art now on to do a portrait of my Star Wars: The Old Republic character.... Guess what color hair she has?

That is amazing! Those are great details! I could recagnize Lydia right of the bat. Oh and I love the story. I'm glad I'm not the only one who makes backstories. x3
Lydia is not 'worthless', though she is a character from a game. Sadly, my Lydia died during the second to the last part of the Main Quest.

Wow that sucks. Yeah I liked her but she always got in my way and set off traps. I was so sad when she died that I buried her in a tomb and made a shrine in her room. I think I might need a life...

My character, Kahara, is a Khajiit. She was born in Elswer, though traveled with her best friend and his father to Skyrim. Legends of dragons and such caught the warrior's attention... and the trading caravans spoke of a lot of gold. After her and her friend got in a horrible fight, the team split up. The next day, Kahara was captured by the Imperials and lost her way. Ever since then, she's been training, fighting, thieving and killing but her main goal is to find her best friend again.
Nto very big or impressive, but I like it.

That's a great backstory. I love it. My Khajiit was male and addicted to Skooma but I didn't really have much info on his species to come up with a great backstory like yours. I can tell you put a lot of thought into it. Do you have a screenshot of Kahara?

Thank you. I don't think Lydia turned out as well as I wanted, but She looks pretty good I think.

Well, actually Lydia is a quite powerful companion, the problem is that Followers don't level with your char. But there's a way to get them the same lvl you have, it worked with her and now she is a really good follower with heavy armor and 1handed weapons.

I'd love to know how, but unfortunately Lydia recently died in this file... very tragic. But if you could tell her how to make her better for my other file I'd be much obliged.

It worked with "my" Lydia. Along with the other housecarls she's one of the best melee followers you can get.
