Description
The third in my Origins collection for the game Dragon Age. This is the City Elf origins, where an evil noble kidnaps the player character and her friends the day of her wedding. Clearly, she goes on a homicidal rampage killing everyone in her path to rescue here friends. My favorite origin hands down.This one features my own character, Fallon Tabris, who also happens to be the awesomest character ever.
If you are wondering, "Why on earth is the background so two dimensional?" The answer is that I have no idea how to do backgrounds and I just wanted to submit the picture (I'm still on a computer that turns off on its own every 10 minutes).
Also, if you are wondering, "What is the meaning behind the intriguing title?" The answer is that I am worse with titles then I am with backgrounds and this was the only one I could think of.
In Fullview you can kind of see the tears in her eyes, which I actually kind of like.

You have really done a good job here.
The shading on her face is amazing, and her eyes fill with tears is a nice effect.
And her eyes are beautiful!

Lol, I'm thinking of uploading some in the future. Also fixing this one a little. I just don't like the background very much, and its disconcerting that her sword has no blood on it, lol. But thanks a bunch.

Yeah, I've done it both ways, and the story is just more touching and feels, I don't know, more complete as a Female Tabris rather than Male.

I agree. I know that in the guide it says the male version is better because it unlocks an extra scene but there is just something about your character being in a terrible situation that you had no control over. It brings incredible emotion and realism to the game.

Well, and part of it is that your fiancΓ© dies trying to save you as a female, where as Nesiara is still alive at the end and it's all 'Oh, well, too bad, I gotta go join the Wardens'. Nelaros may look a little like a pretty boy(so says my brother), but what he's willing to do for f!Tabris is really touching. And with him getting killed, decapitating Vaughan was just a million times more satisfying.

I forgot that the male Tabris' fiance didn't die, so I guess you're right. My character definitely carried that guilt around with her in the game.

Well, and I picked the option about how I'd come back for her and she was all 'Everyone knows Grey Wardens can't have families blah blah blah.' Didn't seem broken up by it at all. Almost like she was relieved she didn't have to get married...
But, yeah, Nelaros...Rahna felt guilty about him pretty much the whole game. I'm writing a fanfic about her that set between Origins and Awakening and she still feels a little bit guilty about him dying for her. She even still wear the wedding ring(on her right hand rather than left, just to remember him).

Lol, it is funny how maybe Tabris fans I have found that are attatched to Nelaros' ring. (I wonder if Bioware put it in on purpose).
In game my character had it on her hand but in my fan fiction she's gonna wear it on a chain around her neck.

Rahna's got Alistair's mother's amulet around her neck. Maybe I'll have her slide the ring on the chain too...
It's a nice way to give Tabris a sentimental side, so many are 'tough' because of what happens and all. I absolutely refused to take it off. You find all these rings that actually do stuff like bump up constitution or cunning or whatever, and I'd only wear one at a time so I could keep on Nelaros' ring. It wouldn't surprise me at all if BW put it in there on purpose.

My usual team: Me(damage), Alistair(tank), Morrigan(damage magic), and Wynne(healz magic

I always use Alistair and morrigan, no matter what, but the third is randomly chosen from the remaining companions.
Lol, yeah whenever I do use Leliana she gets me killed or dies a bunch herself.

Well, with Seth it's not so much her fault I keep dying as it is mine for running through a whole horde of genlocks to take out an emissary or alpha or something(and subsequently getting six or seven deadly strikes in the back. NOT fun.). But now Morri has crushing prison, so I don have to do that so much. And when she has mana cleanse(best anti-mage spell EVER) I'll be doing it even less.
I always have a damage mage and a healz mage and a tank. I do have an Amell most of the way through the game who's my damage mage, so she's been rotating Sten/Zev/Leli for her 'physical' damage(Sten and Zev are toss up for bestest). I had a Dwarf Noble who was technically a tank, but she still brought Alistair everywhere with her(wonder why...). Now greatswords are my favorite cuz I discovered the Haste spell, which gets rid of that pesky hour and a half it took to swing the darn thing.

Yeah I've never used two handed weapons specialization cause I lack the patience and I also always forget to use any of my defense spells or talents. i just attack all the time and then wonder why I die so quickly.

It does take patience, but it's worth it. I mean Indomitable alone(which you can get pretty early on) is worth it. And Sweeping Strike is awesome. I always just attack attack attack and count on Wynne to heal me if my health gets too low. It's worked pretty well so far...
