Actually, if there really were Pokemon, I think it'd be lots of fun to combine different attacks together, don't you? (I think they already do this in the show a lot, if I recall correctly). So this would be more like a blaze kick combined with a hi jump kick, and maybe a screech all at the same time!Blaziken would be pretty cool as a beserker, I think.
So I've sort of looked at my recent submissions and realized that the last five, including this one, have been Pokemon. I've got to change it up pretty soon!
Oh! I've also been practicing with my new brush pen. I believe it's called a Pentel Color Brush, quite fun, but I've been messing up some inkwork too because of it. Oh well, still gotta get the hang of it.
But I had to finish something with Blaziken first! My favorite Pokemon hands down! Originally, I wanted to complete something that could be more like a keychain, but this turned into more of a print than anything else.

The lineart here really appeals to me. There's just something about it that's very cool and somewhat edgey. The expression is really great and so is the pose. You've turned a flaming chicken into a badass mofo, so definite fave.

Thanks! I happened to get the brush from my professor when he was selling off his extra ones! I know they were available at the art store that was near my school, but I'm pretty sure you could find them online.

I actually drew him traditionally first, and then inked him with a brush pen to get the crazy lines! Then I scanned it in and colored in Photoshop.

Well, they did allow the combining of attacks in Mystery Dungeon. I thought it was a good idea. Would be too easy to pull off the combos though, which I think it's why they didn't incorporate it into the main game.

I figured they didn't incorporate it into the main game because it'd be like programming overload! xD; But I had no idea it happened in Mystery Dungeon, I haven't been able to play it.

Mystery Dungeon is so so. The storyline is nice, but the game moves very slowly. The good news is that there aren't any EVs to worry about. (I think)
But like I said, combining moves make combos way too easy to pull of. Eg. Bite and Scary Face. Speed is calculated differently, so by using Scary Face and Bite together, one can permanently flinch an opponent into submission. But the Leer and Scratch combo is powerful.

This is great! I remember this being my favorite move of my Lv 90-something Blaziken (first Pokeyman in my first Pokeyman game, ever :'D ) ... before my kid sister tried to start a new game, thus erasing my own. ;_;

Tis' cool, I can get why people find Blaziken weird. It's a weird fire, chicken man for crying out loud... but at the same time, it's an awesome, fire-breathing, man chicken thing! 8D
