Description

Originally 郑妖, name was changed to Senar I'O'Jun Tal'mar (I'O'Jun, Leader of the eastern temple) by Sa'Varin at the time of their meeting.*

Yao grew up on the streets of Shanghai.  An unwanted daughter, the line of work she was forced into from a very young age is one of the reasons that the Hospitality class now exists.**

It should be noted that Shanghai had the highest number of singularity girls***, per capita (counting heads that still existed immediately prior to their emergence).

The arrival of Yao's power was among the first of the 93 girls in Shanghai.  It is unquestionably the strongest, said to rival Sa'Varin's.  Initially, there was much destruction, as the demon infestation in Shanghai was too deep, as was the case for most of the world.  However, Yao quickly grew tired of destruction, and she fled across the bay to HangZhou, where she established a temple in the hills overlooking the beautiful West Lake.  By "established", I mean that she sat down and meditated on a spot near the Dragon Well.  She cast strands of healing and peace and across the entire city, and eventually all the nearby Singularity Girls came to her and helped.  By the time of the breaking, the city had been transformed into a paradise, with a preserved population exceeding 5 million, more than half of the original population.  When the breaking happened, and the glaciers encroached, she and the other sisters in her temple chose to not evacuate, but instead they preserved West Lake in the miraculous bubble that now stands as a symbol for the triumph of the Power in service to peace.  Truly the greatest wonder of the world today.

Indeed the beautiful I'O'Jun is a balance to the chaos of the gracious and wondrous immortal Sa'Varin.

*Sa'Varin saw I'O as a balancing force to herself, and so I'O, which has some similarities to Yao in how it is pronounced, is also a pictogram that is mean to represent the opposites.  The propositions of certain linguists who suggest that the I and the O represent open and closing of the vagina is unfortunate, and unfortunately founded in the character of our gracious immortal Sa'Varin.  But the truth is these are the symbols that Sa'Varin saw on the power switches when she grew up (power in this case refers to electrical power of a sort we find distasteful in the present age).

** Needless to say, it didn't exist before the singularity.  In fact, the society made sure that any person participating in hospitality would be stripped of all respect, by pretty much everybody.  That we now are willing to confer such respect without question to this class, while all other walks of life must earn the equivalent respec,t makes the old world feel quite uncivilized, generally speaking.  Ra'Min's thesis that sexuality had actually been forced into the hands of the darkness for hundreds of years, not just societally, but individually, and therein was a means for the darkness to build a stronghold in any individual.  Ra'Min also contended that the emergence of the "Light" as he calls the power, was predicted in the loosening of these sexual abberations, as there was no way for the light to emerge as long as sexuality remained entirely in the dark.  This contention is still under heated debate amongst historians. citations needed
