One may perhaps notice I have again, with malice aforethought, starved the background of the attention it deserved (don't kid me the rock looks like crap

Impressive colouring and spot-on anatomy! I love how you've gone for realistic silver fox colours instead of just a grey wash. I agree, he does look evil, but in a charming way. Beautiful, and a definite +Fave!

Wow, I love the detail you placed in your fox. I like the background with the sun rays coming through. The rock is ok except that you missed a little bit of shadow from the fox's legs on it. Other than that, it's an awesome picture that I must fav.
