Hinata, quite possibly my favorite female character in Naruto, seeing as I haven't reached the bit where Tsunade-sama appears.I'm not 100% happy with how this turned out, but I did my best to make the kimono look authentic and simple at the same time.
I'm going to have to do more Naruto fanart, it's quite fun to do
scanned sketch, inked and colored in photoshop.

This is so beautiful. I love the coloring and the details of her Kimono, her hair and her face. I love the colors and the shine effect. The kimono looks realistic. This is just so awesome.

That is extremeley beautiful. Very nicely done. Hinata and Tsunade are my favorites (though I haven't actually seen much of Tsunade

Beautifully done. The only negative I can find is the face and neck seem slightly off.
On the positive? Gorgeous lighting and shading, love the cloth effects, and the entire piece has a moody, thoughtful feel. Excellent work.

Hinata's my favorite Naruto female as well, and your picture does her a LOT more than justice.
I simply love the color scheme of it all -- the transition from the blues to the greens, Hinata's expression, and the very lovely design of the silk kimono and the detailed obi.

I wonder how you make the detail at the kimono.....

the texture was comprised of several layers: one for the base gradient color, one for the shading/shadows, one for the cloth texture, and one for the lily pattern.
the cloth texture layer and pattern layer were distorted a bit following the shape of the folds to make them flow with the cloth more. It took me like 2 hours to tweak it just right...

She looks so beautiful. I love the highlight on her hair, and hot damn that kimono is amazing. The texture works so well, and the folds....*drools* The lighting on this is just incredible. I love the detail on that lily.
