One beautiful day,in July,a young woman,named Danielle,decided to go shopping at an Oriental Market to look for a special kind of fruit called Dragonfruit.Her penpal from Asia said that she should look for it somewhere and write him back soon.Danielle looked around for the dragonfruit and when she couldn't find where they sold it,she was about to give up and go home.But then,Danielle saw an old woman with an abundance of ripe,juicy dragonfruit.She approached the old woman and asked how much would one dragonfruit cost and the old woman told Danielle that it cost $1.00 for one.Luckily,Danielle had a dollar and gave it to the woman then she received the fruit and proceeded to walk home,happy that she would taste her first dragonfruit.

Danielle finally got home and went into her kitchen to grab a plate and a knife.She put the fruit on the plate,then grabbed the knife and cut it in half.The inside was white with black seeds inside which differed from the magenta color of the skin,but Danielle didn't care.Then,she cut a small piece of the fruit and put it in her mouth then chewed it up.Danielle was surprised;the fruit inside tasted pretty sweet and very refreshing to the taste like a party inside of her mouth.After eating the first piece,Danielle ate another piece and another and another until it was all gone.Danielle took the plate and the knife from the table,then put them in the sink to wash for the next day,but then she felt a sharp pain inside of her stomach which caused her to drop the plate onto the floor.

As she was breathing hard,Danielle's skin started to flake off revealing magenta scales underneath,then Danielle's muscles swelled splitting her sleeveless blouse and skirt into shreds.Her skeleton had readjusted to fit her new form as Danielle's internal organs shifted into different places.Danielle's spine stretched into a vertabrae then stopped at the base of her tailbone only to burst out as a huge tail ripping from the seat of Danielle's skirt.Danielle's hands fused together into a cloven claws,her toenails grew out into huge white talons.Two huge bumps formed in her shoulderblades then burst out as huge finger-like wings as dark salmon membranes formed on them.Danielle could feel her neck lengthen which caused her to yell out in pain only for it to come out as a huge roar.

"W-what's happening to...me?",Danielle said,"this shouldn't be happening!"Her face started to stretch out into a muzzle causing her nose to shrink and her nostrils flared wildly.Also,her eyes shifted to either side of Danielle's face which caused her to be in pain.When it was over,Danielle opened her eyes again,but her pupils became slits and the iris in her eyes became red.Danielle saw something form from her neck;they were maroon colored and formed armored plates from her neck to her stomach and near her tail.She also felt two huge horns form out of her head and continued to grow outwards,her ears became pointed and Danielle could hear the heartbeats of everyone outside of her building which amazed her.Then,Danielle could feel sharp spikes erupting from her head towards her which were the color of her scales.The last of her skin finished flaking off from her legs as she continued to transform.Finally,her teeth started to become more sharper and more longer,and her tongue became long and slimer then split from the middle like those of a serpent's.

Danielle finally got up and went to a mirror in her hallway and saw that she was not herself;she was a huge dragon!In a rush,Danielle went to her computer and wrote to her pen pal that she tried the dragonfruit.Her penpal wrote her,"So,what happened after you ate it?"She replied,"You wouldn't believe me even if I told you."
