Then it should be in the Pencil Drawings section I think, so more people would be able to find it

hey there, your artwork looks really kick ass! Im looking for artists who are interested in making artwork for the Anargo Sector Project. We are basicly trying to create an entire Imperial Sector in full detail with lots of background and artwork. Im here to recruit skilled artists for the project. So if you are interested, please join up: [link]

We also have a wiki page: [link]

utterly sweet! I can tell it was based on older stuff too as we haven't seen those helmets for a long time (or the stripes painted on them ) Out of interest, did you get the idea for the titans 'scale' effect from a painted miniatre? i remember trying to copy the way someone painted one in an old white dwarf and failing miserably

dragonhuntr In reply to zoggin-eck [2006-01-27 16:53:51 +0000 UTC]

This was done for Games Workshop, (never printed though) I think I made the titan to big. Ok, to the question... I looked at a lot of pictures, miniatures what ever I could find to do this.. and yeah they are the old version... played a few times at Marcon in columbus quite a few years back. Took first place! (mainly because half my troops got killed and I went berserk, On of the main boilers was getting ready to blow So I took it into enemy territory and it blew up there)
So anyway, you can see the pencil and color version.

Excellent Any references? How long did it take to make? it says it's digital art, but I somehow doubt it is, looks pencilllled.

Are you a Warhammer 40,000 fan then?

dragonhuntr In reply to mikkow [2004-03-31 22:01:21 +0000 UTC]

Not sure how it got under digital art, I didn't put it there, Might have happened in the which around on here earlier.
References... early eldar stuff, got it to it years ago then gave it up. I did this for a cover of a gaming mag, not sure if it ever saw print or not. Time wise drawing, about 30 to 40 hours on and off. Penciled first then done in color with color pencils, and yup a fan, but no longer a player.
keith oh and thanks for the comment.
