Description Rhygiking
Rock/Poison/Ground

Classification: Megarock FUSEmon

Client: Dragonith

Price: $20,015,142,000

Special Ability: Solid Core
"Pokemon cannot be defeated using super-effective moves."
*Like a Focus Sash, but prevents super-effective damage (Does not prevent being hit by super-effective attacks.).

Signature Move: Rock Destroyer
Type: Rock
Power: 300
Accuracy: 80
PP: 5
"A massive boulder is thrown at the foe with same force as an asteroid impact. The user recharges for two turns after use."

----------------------------------------------------------
"Wanting to prevent another 'royal rampage', we took extra precautions when creating his majesty. We also found our selves a lucky sampling of a Shiny Gigalith's DNA. This was included into the fusion to have the king have a sense of variety instead of a similar appearance to his soon to be female companion."

"Rhygiking did as the queen before him did. Roar threateningly. He proceeded to smash open the reinforced glass casing we had enclosing him (Taking that out of my assistant's paycheck...) and broke out into the opening. At first we thought he was going to the battle section as Rhygiqueen did previously. Instead, he went to another section of the facility and destroyed it with a semi-charged Rock Destroyer attack. We were lucky some of the more status oriented fusions were there to hinder his signature move. Thankfully, no one was injured."

"Even now, we're having some problems importing Rhygiking to Cinnibar Lab to interact with Rhygiqueen. We're considering to move Rhygiqueen back here as she's more 'mellow', according to one of the lab workers there. One can hope this is true..."

Deja vu much? Rhygiking was drawn into two different poses before I decided to go with this one (Other pose was facing towards the screen). I was originally going to use the main coloring of Gigalith, but I decided at the last minute to go with the shiny variant. That was a good decision on my part as it looks WAY cooler now. Looking more like Nidoking is a bonus.

Notable differences from Rhygiqueen:
*Larger head crest+Larger drill and extra horn.
*Shiny coloring. Nidoqueen's light blue replaced with Nidoking's purple.
*Has visible teeth.

Enjoy.~
Also, !@#$ Chrome for forcing me to use IE to upload this. Stupid vanishing upload box...

Actually, there already is an ability like Solid Core. Wonder Guard has the same effect.

Dragonith In reply to Guardiavoir [2012-08-05 05:59:42 +0000 UTC]

Wonder Guard only prevents moves that aren't super-effective from hitting. Solid Core however prevents being KOed by super-effective moves, meaning you can still hit the user with super-effective moves. Just, you won't be able to KO it with them.

I think they'd look great if you put all the levels for them. Especially with how great the end results were.

Dr. Sigma: Wow, Rhygiking along with his female counterpart are some of the best fusions you've made so far! Great job fellow scientist, just don't let the two go anywhere near the corporation's vital systems.
