Bethany Ferris was an orphan whose true family was unknown. She has had a habit of shop lifting, vandalism, and the occasional breaking and entering, which was easy to pull off with her unusual amount of strength. Her luck ran out when she tried stealing from a blonde boy about her age, who turned out to be the President of Ultratech. After being discovered, she made quick work of his Fulgore guards, the young president was impressed with her skills and said he won't mention this to the cops if she did something for him. Project: Cinder was a secret only known to the higher ups of Ultratech, and the only thing missing was a test subject who could survive the process.
A female version of Cinder from Killer Instinct I've had on my mind. If you want to know who her parents are, all I'll say is that you've already seen her father, but her mother has yet to be revealed.
