Obscurious Darkbone.
Obscirious comes from a long line of shadow dragons. He was primarily raised by his mother as his father was a strong, well admired soldier. Obscurious was often teased by other dragons for his ugly appearance. He often did not take this well and would end up getting into fights. However, as he grew older, and due to teachings from his father, he became less violent. However, his mind was still dark as he felt hatred for those who bullied him.
When he reached the age of 12, Obscurious was being bullied again, but then one crossed the line. The leader He ended up lost in the Ancient Grove and was nearly killed by the creatures living there. However, he was saved by two dragons around his age. One was dark red with ferocious looking needles on his body and the other was dark pinkish red with black horns, fins, and claws. They introduced themselves as Lawrence and Drace. While they helped Obscurious out of the Grove and back to his village, they talked a lot and got along very well. They all seemed to have a lot in common as they were bullied and had dark interests and minds. Before Obscurious went home, he promised he would visit his new friends sometime, and they parted with smiles.
However, he was met with a horrible surprise. The village was attacked, and many lay dead in the cold, hard ground. Obscurious ran home to find his mother barely alive. Beside her, was his father, dead and brutally mangled. His mother said he died trying to protect her from Malefor's apes, who were attempting to kidnap her and all the other shadow dragons.
A week later, the rest of the villagers held a funeral for all the lives lost in the attack. Afterwards, Obscurious's mother succumbed to her injuries and died. Obscurious was deeply saddened from losing his family.
A month later, Obscurious was attacked by the village bullies, who believed it was his fault all this had happened since the apes were searching for shadow dragons. Angered for being accused and brutally attacked, Obscurious let out a shadow fury that caused the bullies to turn on each other, and slowly kill each other. In a sorrowful rage of what he had done, Obscurious dug up his father's grave, took his skull, and placed it on his head.
He left the village and vowed to never return.
He roamed the darkest places of the world, becoming known as a young shadow dragon wearing a skull. Soon after, he came across the city of Warfang, which he was welcomed in with open arms. Something he never expected to happen. He later found out Malefor was returning, and the dragon city needed all the help they could get to defend the world from his evil. They wanted Obscurious to help them.
Deeply, pleasantly surprised by this, Obscurious agreed. He was then sent to the academy to train to be an apprentice. In the process, he was reunited with his friends Lawrence and Drace, who were also training to be soldiers.
Obscurious basked in his teacher's praise and enjoyed training and spending time with his new friends.
After Malefor was defeated, he continued to live in Warfang, and became well liked by many, but still disliked by many others.
However, now that he had good friends and dragons that appreciated him, he did not let the bullying bother him anymore. Anyone who was mean to him, he smirked at and walked away.
He has deeply enjoyed his life in Warfang. To this day he still dons his father's skull. A symbol of how much he looked up to him and his dream to be a strong, brave soldier like him.
Whew! Don't know if you already have a story for this guy, but he's so cool I just wanted to write one.
