"Tharrl is one of a race of gargoyle like creatures, where flight is a big part of life. Originally destined to lead his clan, as a young adult his wings were maimed beyond repair by a jealous rival. Now earthbound and cast from his people, Tharrl has been dealt a difficult hand in life and must now make do without the power of flight he grew up with. He now defends those in need in the unforgiving realm he lives in."

This piece was done in Photoshop CS with my Wacom tablet. I thought I would try doing a greyscale piece. Thanks for looking.
