Description inspired by my love of a few things and my daughter - My daughter was dressed as Katie Power (Energizer) from Power Pack when we went to a convention this weekend (which is when I drew this), and this is her peering into the TARDIS. Bigger on the inside, just like a certain wardrobe, Katie also being the youngest of 4 siblings (2 boys, 2 girls) I could see the parallels, and decided to push it a little further. Instead of Lucy looking into a world of trees from a room inside a house, I made sure my daughter/Katie was looking into a room, from among the trees....

I would be surprised if they did. my daughter doesn't see this as a phone booth, she sees it as a police box with a phone which is only a disguise for the real thing....

i recently found that there IS still a payphone left in my city...not that I've gone out looking, so there may be more...but they are certainly not so prevalent as they once were.

Anyway, the one i found is broken (no handset) and according to my friend, has been like that for years. another time i found one by the city's main parking garage (by the bus station) and a couple of weeks later, i was back in that section again and it was GONE. just...gone...and i'm thinking "am I going crazy? or did i really see a phone there a few weeks ago?"
