ummm....does it matter ? i have all the original run of comic books and i can't actually recall her ever being called Katherine.

I mean, its interesting (and thanks for the link   ), cause i don't think I've ever seen her called Katherine in any of the ORIGINAL comics which i own - maybe i need to re-read them? ( and i haven't read all the new ones yet, so i may have missed it if it was there), but I wouldn't be surprised that Katie is actually a derivative of Katherine, but I'd like to point out that that doesn't make it any less her name...

I may be a little oversensitive on the matter though, as i have the same kinda deal going on. My name is Nicole and I've always gone by the derivative of Nikki. heck, I never heard the name Nicole for almost the first 7 years of my life...and then I had a total stranger tell me that I was wrong, that I was using the wrong name, that i was writing my name wrong and she refused to allow me to use Nikki.  Without actually saying the words, she pretty much said my entire family and life was a lie - you can imagine the temper tantrum i had! It's a good thing I didn't have Katie's power! LOL...in the meantime,  My mother had to go down to the school and argue with them about it to get them to allow a DERIVATIVE of my own name..Weird huh?

do you mean the clean looking, child friendly 2000 (ish?) reboot? the pack is back - the kids are allright? where there a few years older than last we left them? i have a hardcover book with quite a few comics in them. what i'm trying to figure out, is if that was all of them or not. WHen i look online, i keep finding issues that look like they're part of the book i already have....and then i find others that don't, but are part of it and i get confused...

thanks so much! glad you liked it (and Super Katie! - thanks for the fave on that one too!) so much! have you seen my other two power pack pieces (the pony one and my first one which is an actual scene...)

my daughter and i dressed up as power pack for halloween. now that i finally have a new camera, i'm gonna attempt to get a decent pic of it and post it up here as well i mean, how often have you heard of anyone doing power pack cosplays? lol

I have to admit, when the 'new style' kids first came out i was very offended. but years later, i was just grateful they were there, and i started collecting them (as well as the old ones - graphic novel #4 of the classics comes out march 14th!!! my comic book store didn't initially order ANY of those until i came in looking for them. now they make sure to have 2 of each one since there IS a demand for it. lol) for my daughter and just because they were fresh material. they did seem to 'retcon' a few things though and i wish they hadn't.
