Description Beauty Portrait of the USS Constellation, NCC-1710.

If you don't like what I've done, do the 'adult' thing a just keep scrolling.

Now, before anyone gets their panties in a bunch, I am aware that NCC-1710 is not 'canon', but as far as I'm concerned, the official Paramount 'canon' list is as confusing as Hell and doesn't make much sense.
In it's place I use the list from the Starfleet Museum Website www.starfleet-museum.org/pyotr…
It makes more sense to me and fits with Matt Jefferies own description of the registry number for the Enterprise. 17 (17th cruiser design) + 01 (1st in the series after the class leader). 17-01 = NCC-1701.
Anyway that's my 'Head-Canon' and I'm sticking to it.

Cool starship!

I strongly support reserving the right to creative license when it comes to expressing oneself in artwork.

Keep up the good work!

For God's sake people, this is art not school!! Nobody is going to fail an exam for creative use of registry numbers. Enjoy it for what it is, not what YOU believe it should be!

Oh and nice work mate

Love the name and ship, but the number of the hull is just plain but wrong. Canon is canon!

LOL!!!
Never been a slave to 'canon'. The only thing that mattered when they built the model for DDM is that the number be different from that of the Enterprise. Other than that they really didn't care what it was.

Looks really good. My only complaint with the "canon" thing and the Constellation is that it featured quite clearly in an episode, www.ex-astris-scientia.org/sca…

Yep.
I've never been a slave to 'canon', especially in Star Trek TOS, which routinely violated it's own 'canon'. I chose to go with what made better sense in my personal Trek Universe.
