Description In her dreams his eyes were never gold. They pierced her, sky-blue, just as they had the morning they first met beneath the old trestle bridge, the autumn air cold and clean. Bright eyes, full of promises... now, full of something else. Pleas, maybe? She didn’t know.

Sometimes, in those dreams, he opened his mouth to speak. An explanation? she would wonder. An apology?

His skin was cool to the touch.

There was nothing left to say. All things had a course, inexorable. All dice must fall, theirs were cast.

Oh, Luke, she whispered. You always wanted too much.

Yeah, yeah, more Luke/Thalia. What can I say? Their relationship is complex, and I find it really fascinating, even after their choices divide them.

Tampered with the contrast on this to give it the darker twilight effect I wanted. I'm not entirely sure I like it, but oh well.

SO TRUE. I really think they're such an interesting pair because they're so similar - he really DOES tempt her. The deciding factor is that she comes to grips with her flaw when he fails to do so.... pooooor Luke.

Really, really good. It feels... cold. And the shading is very well done. A comment from an inexperienced 'drawer' though, just something I've noticed, is to an extent, the forehead lines up with the chin. But it's probably just a different art style. Very impressive

Thanks for the feedback! You're right, I do tend to proportion faces in that way... guess it's just a habit from years of drawing in an anime-esque style. I can't seem to get rid of it! XD

Very, very pretty. The one think I think could be fixed(this is just a matter of style now XDD) is that her lipstick seems a tad too thick. For my liking, anyway.

But, eh. Who am I to talk? Even if I did something like this, I wouldn't have the guts to put it on here.

Thank you for such thoughtful feedback... I really appreciate it when people take the time to give me such valuable insights on what I've drawn. I always imagine Thalia with really gothy lipstick, though I don't think Riordan ever says she wears that sort of thing in the books.... that said, I tampered a lot with the contrast in this piece, so that's probably where the super-dark lines came from. I never would have noticed, so thanks for the input!!

They're from the Percy Jackson series. Luke is one of the main baddies, Thalia is... sort of in all of them.
