Spent yesterday doing some quick concepts of elemental dragon and pony designs. I really don't tend to draw out most of my creatures beforehand. Normally I just sorta grab a color and figure it out as I go! Had a lot of fun coloring some of the designs though, so I thought I'd share! I'm planning to make the 4 main elements of course (earth, air, water, fire) but think I'd like to do some others as well, like snow, lightning, rock... I dunno all the variations I'm going to do yet. Any requests?With the dragons I plan to make bigger, more intricate guys, then also little chibi counterparts for each element. I MIGHT do some gryphons too, but we'll see. I gotta really be in the right mood for those guys

I love that there is as much feeling in your drawings as in your sculpts! Β And these ideas are very cool~~~I really like the fire ones on the top, particularly the lower right one [the one you check-marked with a ? next to it]...I also like the snow one, and the leafy one at bottom....
Air'll be a hard one to capture, I would guess...

All of your work always inspires me to try and do better sculpts, even your random drawings here and there. I can't wait to see these! Your little guys always have such attitudes when they're done, I just love seeing the expressions on their faces XD

I like the pose and look of lightning dragon and what would be very cool is if you made the end of the tail zig zag like a lightning bolt.

Funny enough, I actually liked the fire dragon with the x next to it the most, but they're all great.
One suggestion though, if you want to do both air and snow, I might keep the blues with the snow, and use some pale yellows with the air. Otherwise their colors will look very similar. (Though if you want them to look similar, that's fine too.)
