Description
This pirate ship cake was carved from 2 x 18" x 12" slabs of lemon cake.

It was carved to shape and covered in sugarpaste.

The sails were cut from some fabric and the masts are cake dowelling rods sprayed with the airbrush. The ropes were simple string.

The board map was drawn with a food colouring pen then airbrushed to age, it is the Treasure map from the Goonies, this is one eyed willies shape therefore it had to have a chocolate skull of one eyed willie. That was the most fun. His mask and bandana are sugarpaste, as are the jewels.
