Her left arm is technically a weapon, having certain modifications that can potentially be lethal. Because it wasn't really built for fighting, though, it isn't something Theresa likes to use since it might break. Otherwise, she improvises...with a ballpoint pen. Figure that one out.

/abilities:strengths/
Compression - Theresa possesses the ability to perform a type of gravity control, capable of applying enough pressure to push matter into a smaller space. The intensity and duration of the effects vary on the level of her emotions. Her abilities aren't limited to physical objects either (for example, data compression), but she tends to have less control when dealing with less "concrete" things. That, and this ability can be quite exhausting if used over a long period of time.

/weaknesses/
Weak physical build, limiting the time she can use her abilities and perform certain tasks. Certain behavioral aspects like hesitation, fear, and moral conflict can inhibit her actions as well.

/personality/
A bit of a stoic, Theresa doesn't like to talk much and finds it difficult to speak to others, preferring to convey her thoughts through body language or facial expressions instead. Despite her reliance on emotions, however, she seems to be perpetually tired - not even she herself knows why that is. Theresa also has a difficult time bringing herself to "hate" somebody, being so tolerant that it might as well be considered a fault - her willingness to accept anybody and everybody can become quite frustrating. Even with her openness to others, however, Theresa is very protective over certain things. If she really finds a reason to dislike someone, she will keep her distance and lash out if necessary when her personal space is violated.

/biography/
It all started with an internet cafe.

It was one that Theresa frequented when she was 18, a place she could go to get away from her peers and the other strains of the day. She had a strange affinity for the world known as the internet, as being anonymous kept her at peace. The internet gave her an escape, a voice... a chance to become anybody she wanted.

And then, one day, she stumbled upon a chatroom.
She doesn't quite remember how she found it or where she found the link that directed her there. Theresa only remembers clicking it, curious to what it was for. Only one other user was there in the chatroom, one under the screen name of "K!TE". K!TE quickly became a faceless friend of sorts, someone who Theresa could turn to with her problems. Overjoyed, she kept her new-found friend a secret, gradually burying herself in the internet.

...until one day K!TE didn't show up.
There was a message instead, a little white box that opened when she logged into the chatroom. It prompted her not to turn around and instead close her eyes. Confused, she obeyed.
Then, with a crack, everything faded.

Rubble and the bloody remains of her arm greeted her when she opened her eyes. She was pinned under a rock, an unfortunate victim of one in a series of explosions in the area. With her family either dead or missing, Theresa quickly entered a state of shock and withdrawal. Terrified and terribly lonely, she turned to Panda Hazard.

She doesn't want to remember any more than that.
