History : Abandoned as an egg by his real parents, Den was "raised" by an old grumpy Kaimorse until he was able to take care of himself. Because he was essentially treated like crap until he was 8, he developped an irrationnal fear of people with mustaches. And that's really stupid.

Den then worked as a fisherman for a few years. He didn't like it, but he didn't really have a choice, either. He wanted to become a pirate ever since he was a kid. But he needed a ship, and ships didn't exactly fall from the sky. So he worked really hard, year after year. He wanted to give up sometimes, but kept going anyway. It was his dream, after all. And then, he was finally able to afford it. He was overjoyed. He'd become a great pirate! The greatest ever! Or so he thought.

Den, it turns out, was a really shitty pirate. But getting his butt handed back to him half the time didn't discourage him. After all, there was still the other half. Things changed the day he accidentally tripped on a stone while taking a walk the the beach. A water stone, I should add. Since that day, the asskickings became rarer and rarer, and the other pokemons began to actually respect him. He still wasn't the greatest pirate ever like he wanted, but at least, he was a less shitty pirate than before. And he'd get even better with time.

Now, Den has become considerably richer (at least compared to before), and usually spends that on spelon berries (he's totally addicted to those) or new (purple) clothes because purple is an awesome color. Because he doesn't need money as much as before, he also attacks people much less often, instead spending his days lazing around on his ship or on the beach.

- Speaking of berries, he's almost always seen nomming on them no matter the situation
