Description
So I had a jar of ink and a quill in the back of my desk drawer, mostly because I hadn't been able to get the jar open. I took it out and soaked it in water and picked at the dried ink around the lid with a toothpick, and was finally able to open it. So then I thought, hey, why not draw something with this?Date of Drawing:

Quill
Blue Aladine ink
Water (for thinning the ink)
White Gellyroll pen (for the highlight in the eye)

I've never really handled a quill before to the honest... but I know liquid ink isn't as "flexible" as ball-point pens are - it's much harded to control how opaque or thick lines will be. Though honestly as far as opacity goes, you don't have the slightest choice. Good on you for even trying.

Thank you lol. I tried just dipping it in the ink, then in some water to thin it and make it more opaque. While it was tedious and I couldn't really get the same shade too often with different dips, it worked well enough.
