Lol thank you! I know I definitely used a few techniques I'd learned from your book, mostly with the shading style and proportions and such. I'm glad to hear you like it!

Alright, this is definitely beautiful, perhaps a little rough on the strokes but definitely solid and aesthetically pleasing work.

Thanks! It's a bit hard working with a quill, which might constitute a bit to the rough strokes, but I'm glad you like it anyways!

I've never really handled a quill before to the honest... but I know liquid ink isn't as "flexible" as ball-point pens are - it's much harded to control how opaque or thick lines will be. Though honestly as far as opacity goes, you don't have the slightest choice. Good on you for even trying.

Thank you lol. I tried just dipping it in the ink, then in some water to thin it and make it more opaque. While it was tedious and I couldn't really get the same shade too often with different dips, it worked well enough.
