Another dragon, drifting along in whitespace, wondering if there's anything out there... Somewhat uninspired. I've been in a bit of a dry spell with the old drawing malarkey again lately. Struggling to finish the latest page of 'Heritage' and having general issues with drawing the things I *want* to draw (either for my own benefit, or for commissions etc). So the other week I decided it was Random Dragon time. Even then it was a bit of a struggle - I didn't like his original head, scrubbed it out, and subsequently nearly wore through the paper trying to draw a new one. Too stubborn to give up, I eventually settled on the one here but I'm still not terribly happy with it. The important thing was I'd actually drawn something! The colouring, on the other hand, took about 45 minutes, which surprised me given I'd set aside a couple of hours

Beautiful job again. I know sometimes, we artists, get in a rut and have to dig ourselves out.......You've done it and more, Izzy. I've been in one for quite awhile now, I think it's time for some "spell casting" again. My Shamanistic teachings , I think will help. Time to "cast some spells". That, and getting inspired by some of my favorite artists like yourself..........j

heh, well most of them end up as half-finished scribbles. I can't bring myself to throw anything away though so I have piles of doodled-on paper that I 'might get back to some day'... I was getting annoyed at my lack of finished drawings lately so forced myself to sit through this one, despite almost rubbing a hole in the page drawing his head XD
