Bastet, like all other shapeshifters are segmented into 3 different breeds; Homid (Human), Feline (Cat) and Metis (considered an abomination among all shapeshifters is the result of mating between two bastet.)
Khan is the only tribe of Bastet that is found among the Beast Courts of the East in any great number, although not as mighty as the Hakken (werewolf) they are still considered a mighty force, although there numbers too are dwindling fast.

First in a series that I will try and get up entitled "Changing Breeds". Concept is taken from the White Wolf's Werewolf: The Apacolypse changing breeds section of the players handbook, a more detailed explanation of this particular lineage can be found in; Hengeyokai : Shapeshifters of the East, also by White Wolf, Khan, Bastet and the symbol representing Bastet, Hengeyokai and Werewolf are all trademark of White Wolf and are subject to copyright law.
