The Nordic goddess of the frozen death world. She protects you when you travel in the darkness. They who fear her call her place hell. She is also Nefele, goddess of shadows. She rules over the realm of the dead known as Helgardh

HELA or Hel- Norse Goddess of Death, Ruler of the underworld. Teutonic Goddess of the kingdom of the dead, not considered as a place of punishment. Daughter of Loki and Angurboda, and sister of the Midgard serpent of the ocean encircling the Earth, and of the devouring Fenris-wolf. Half her face was totally black.

The Prose Edda describes Hel as half-black, half-white (she is sometimes seen as half-rotting, half alive) and of grim and unmistakable appearance. Her name may originally derive from the buried slab-rock grave-chambers of the Stone Age.

As you can see, ive made some updates to the hel concept, maybe this is her when she was younger, because the rot does not extend to her face. However, in this version she does have a tattoo on her face (which i did the idea for from AVP). to represent her duality. The black and white are more interspersed throughout in this representation, but all in all, i think i did a good job of bringing it up to date.
