Cool picture, though I don't think your ID in a previous comment is right. I doubt this is a bedbug; you did get the family right, just not the common name. Bedbugs are smaller, rounder, dull-colored and almost always found indoors in beds or other material. This is an assassin bug; they're predators, not parasites. (They're venomous, because they use venom to kill and pre-digest prey, but the venom isn't life-threatening to humans, it just causes a lot of pain.)
