A tarantula! Nicely captured...funny looking tree it's on though.
Would I be right in guessing this was taken at night?

Yep, a tree with thorns
Yes it was... 10 or 11 pm not sure

A-Fox-Of-Fiction In reply to Drangelu [2014-10-31 00:01:23 +0000 UTC]

Thorns? What kind of tree was it?
Figured, the shadows were a dead giveaway...your camera has a good flash, I tried nighttime photography with mine and the results...were less than satisfactory.
Did you enjoy the sunset?

A little tree, don't know what kind of tree

Hehe yes, still not as good as I'd like it to be

Yes each and every sunset I've seen

And here I thought the only thorny tree might be a cactus.

Guess we're both dissatisfied with our own cameras...still, mine usually works pretty good for what it's made for. Is it possible to upgrade the flash?

Pretty hard to not see it...but I'm glad you enjoyed them. The ones around here aren't too impressive.

Hahaha no, there are other

Hahaha, actually my camera is so much more simpler, this one is my dads. Hmm don't think so, but you could always use another light source

, I believe every sunset is worth watch (I might submit some pics)

Just like Yoda said about Skywalkers...must not be too common up north. How many other spiny trees are there?

Huh...perhaps my flash just wasn't too good, sometimes it can work alright...still a bit baffled on how it didn't seem to help in total darkness.
Maybe...anyways, so you use more than one camera?

Hmm, perhaps  I'm just too used to it...I'm sure I'll enjoy your sunset pictures though

Guess that was a dumb question...by the way, I'm having trouble remembering. Are Sea Urchins fish or some other form of sea traveling life?

Figured...I just use one. Still, I do say that the flash on this one is absolutely great, almost looks like daytime when used.

Awesome!

I don't remember whether or not Sea Urchins are stationary...and if they aren't then they definitely not fish...I don't know what their true species would be classified. You know anything that could help?

Drangelu In reply to A-Fox-Of-Fiction [2014-11-01 22:08:31 +0000 UTC]

Ah
Hmmm well they are not fishes, those are Equinodermos, yes they can move but very slowly, just very few actually hunt their food, most of them eat plants and other microoganisms or are just simple detritivores

A-Fox-Of-Fiction In reply to Drangelu [2014-11-01 22:43:44 +0000 UTC]

Equinodermos? I've never heard of this animal type...what can you tell me about it?
From a scale of slug to cheetah, how slow do these guys move?

Drangelu In reply to A-Fox-Of-Fiction [2014-11-01 23:09:07 +0000 UTC]

Hmm don't know much about them, but let me check.

Less than the slug
