Long gone are the days of digging through old archives in dusty library basements. Technology ushered in the age of the digital time capsule. So while Jarin waited for Tristan to arrive for his afternoon shift, he poked through his favorite activity. Browsing horses of all sorts. Now, yes, that has gotten him into some recent trouble with a certain blind horse. No denying that. But what harm was there in looking? Lots. Jarin ached all over, knowing he shouldn't and couldn't afford all these beautiful shiny and very talented horses.
Sighing, he closed out of the wonderful ads of these horses he didn't know and started flipping through the endless photo reel he had of his own horses. Past the large chunk of Eno was a stockpile of Foxy . Uuuugh, she was so pretty! Everything about her was so refined and elegant. Jarin began to wonder what her parents might look like. With the whole web at his fingers, he poked around to see if he could find her lineage with her registered name. Much to his delight, he found a whole plethora of information!
Her sire, Foxtrot , was well accomplished! He had been all over to competitions and had done so well! He was a gorgeous mover and more exciting to Jarin: he did it all! Jumping, dressage, cross country! And he did it so well! The stallion had a look about him that exuded confidence and power! He audibly gasped, realizing they had even competed at the same event a ways back at the Midsummer event. Jarin had done showjumping but definitely remembered seeing a fine roan stallion competing in dressage! Oh, the wonderful thoughts that danced through his head if it had just been a bit later when he had Foxy and showed up with her in hand to show the stallion's owner how fabulous she had grown into.
Her dam, FDS Bombshell Blonde , had a solid career of her own too! From the small amount of videos he could find, she looked so lovely in her training. A very animated jumper with a lovely elastic trot in warm ups. He could definitely see where Foxy got her sweeping strides. Another Midsummer entry that Jarin just missed! This one seemed long before he was in the saddle and riding. What a small world that one reoccurring event could link two horses. Did the owners even know each other at the time? Was Foxy the result in seeing each other at the competitions, knowing full well what a beautiful baby they would produce?
Not far in the results was a link to a Foal Inspections show sanctioned by the SWBA that Jarin was quickly becoming familiar with after the Rikssto event he picked Foxy up from. Now, Jarin was expecting a couple photos but another audible gasp filled the lounge as he saw there was a video attached to it! FOXY! AS A BABY! He swoooooned over her inspection video, seeing her so little and dainty, not at all like her large and elegant frame now!
Foxy was a level-headed foal from the beginning. Her dam paraded her around the arena so the onlookers could have a good look at her. Foxy trotted right by her side, her ears attentive and alert on her surroundings. She joined her mother with a whinny to whomever would listen to their call. Turned loose, she still had her wits about her, opting to stand rigid by her Dam's side. The two roans, apart from their leg whites, could be mirror images. Foxy carried every physical trait of her lineage; a strong and elegant looking foal with intelligent eyes that had a glimmer of youthful energy. It would be no surprise to the horse she was going to grow into.

Don't mind me just experimenting with styles xD I'm not looking to change styles. Just going with the flow of whatever my brain wants to see at the moment. It's a vibe~ I don't live by expectations right now lmao (Although, I will admit, I did fight myself over the background because I STRONGLY wanted to start over detailing it almost immediately.) We are truly in the thick of the "Experimental" era of DrasArt right now xD Looking at my gallery is like four different people running my account right now lmao -shrug- That might have bothered me some time in the past but I'm too old and weathered to give a shit about having one style all to my own. MEH. My style is "what does this thing do" as I poke around at settings, brushes, ideas, concepts, etc.

And I'm so happy Helsinge opened the show to allow for "old" adult horses to compete as "throwback" foals for this!! I know it's hard to believe with the pile of horses I have, but I'm not all that big into the breeding scene and I didn't have any spare designs I felt I wanted to dedicate to another SWB baby just yet x'''O I want to play with the ones I have still! So I was so stoked to get to picture Foxy as a lil' baby <333333

And thank you Serendipppitous for letting me feature your lovely lady <3 I know I didn't have to for this show but I love how Foxy is a little mini-me and couldn't resist!
