I've three Inuyasha sketches that I finished at work the other day - this one, that I finished today, and one with our puppy prince Inuyasha and dead ice queen Kikyo.

I'm on a binge of colourful contrasts and harder-than-usual-to-do lighting schemes. Mayheps I found my own colouring style?
Also tried to make it at least a bit anime-ish (see big eyes) but I just couldn't; it looked odd. I don't know how 2 anime anymore ;_;

I like her expression and the pained look. It looks like she doesn't want to shoot that arrow. One point that I don't like that much are the thick black outlines around her face and clothes. I think it may look better if those lines were thinner. Still is very nice to look at

Hello! I use Photoshop CS6, but I'm sure that you can do pretty much the same thing in SAI as well, as I didn't use many layer effects, just lots of lighting effects and clever erasing

You can also use very light or very saturated colours to suggest light
