Honey Badger was a scrapped character in the movie Zootopia. I loved her character a lot, So I drew her out.ΒCory Loftis came to talk to us the other day. He's the Character Art Director of Zootopia. He gave us a demonstration of how he draws. I tried it out a little bit on this one.

*shrugs* I was taking design elements from the Art of Zootopia book, and i guess they didn't have tame collars when i was drawing it. Glad you like it!

i do! actually Cory Loftis pointed it out when he visited our university. it's more of repurposing a model than Β keeping honey in the movie though.

She was a dedicated doctor who was concerned about the impact of the infection. In the original script she was a badass leader who dressed in camo pants.

The model is still in the movie but is used for the doctor mayor lionheart was talking to in the abandoned hospital

I actually found that out after making this picture! The Art Director, Cory Loftis, came to our university and mentioned that. Still be nice to see Honey as a character in a sequel.

Second'd, she was the doctor that got shouted by Lionheart while Judy and Nick were busy trying to hide themselves. That's the only time she was seen in person.
