And something was wrong with the enemies, so they didn't even take cover, they just zerg-rushed you. Was impossible. And I've owned that game on insanity. Yeah, i think ME2 balances that really good though, since it's mostly helping your crew do their shit before you go blow up the collector base. And then, on the collector base, its so epic you will die of the awesome. XD Shepard is kinda space Jesus though.. But I think they've made her a really believeable character, and she's one of my favorite female cahracters. (I don't like male sheploo, though, his actor is so..... idk, he fails XD )
If it was insane? Well, when you've played it that much, combat is really easy XD Was one part though, that was INSANE BEYOND EVERYTHING. That when you're on the collector ship to get that IFF. THAT IS SO HARD ON INSANE. XDDDDD

I actually can't complain much about the dramaticness of ME2, it's fairly balanced, as you said, compared to so many other things I've had the bad luck to pay to go see. Too much heroicness comes out faky and unrelateable for my tastes. You know how Hollywood and all its children like the idea of The Hero, that one single guy (rarely a girl) that is the absolute only one who can save the universe. It comes in many forms. Lol at Space Jesus, I think that perfectly describes Shepard XDDD and you're RIGHT! Other people like MaleShep's acting better (mostly guys I guess), but I just find him so utterly and unbearably dull and unexpressive O___O So. He does fail in my book.

Yeah, it usually just gets stupid if it is like, YOU ALONE AGAINST THE WORLD, SAVING EVERYONE, RUNNING ALONE AGAINST AN ARMY WHIILE HOLDING A FLAG YELLING "FREEDOM". The first ME game was almost like that, I don't love the first one, but it's still a good enough game. If we overlook the godawful combat system. It's a pain and an endurance test, but it makes ME2 even better to play, so I won't complain XD. But at least in ME2 it's showed that SHepard can die (even though that only pisses her off, and make's her raise two years later.... SPACE JESUS INDEED. Or just Goddess Ra. XD) And that's also a reason I love Fem!Shep so much, because it's a female, for once. If you play with male Shep, then it's just another Man Saves The Universe story. And those who say they like manSheps acting better, is lying. He sucks. So bad. I tried playing a little with him, and I was going insane. NO EMOTION. And anyways, the people who thinks female Shepard is bad, they are saying it because they are sexists. I have read SO many awful comments about it.
And the IFF is the plot device you need to get to the collector base 8D Uh, it's a identify-friend-foe thing, that lets them go through the Omega-4 relay without being sent into a black hole or something. XD

Yeah, it's kind of silly to say that they need Shepard, but at least they point out really early in ME2 that it's the icon they need, her image and what she represents. A symbol who can inspire can be more meaningful than just another person who steps into her shoes.. So I think that's what they mean in ME2, and not her skills and stuff. But in ME1, it's more like, ONLY HER CAN STOP SAREN DUN DUUUUN DUUUUUUN I think it's weird they don't send an experienced spectre after Saren instead of sending just Shepard, anyway. Seems weird. "LETS SEND SHEPARD, ALONE, OUT AFTER OUR MOST SEXY EXPERIENCED AND BEST SPECTRE, AND HIS ARMY OF GETH. Good plan, yes?"
And the Mako. It has kinda turned into a meme, that car. Because the thing is almost indestructable, you can climb 90 degrees hills with it, and you can balance on top of mountains. And it's so hard to drive, that every fan just calls Shepard a bad driver, because it's impossible to drive the thing without messing up and crashing into things. XD

It is. I have driven off ledges SO many times with that car. And I feel so bad for Garrus, who ALWAYS comes with me in that thing. (or.. well, anywhere I go really. THE GARRUS CANNOT ESCAPE.) But Garrus is really diffrent in ME1.. You're his boss, and that's kinda all it is.. Or, he's a friend too, in a way.. But he's polite and nice, and comes to you for advice. So it's very diffrent. I really love his development though, from your subordinate in ME1 to your best-friend/lover in ME2. *ovaries explode* HE'S BECOME THA MOST BADASS BADASS EVARAR, AFTER BEING BATMAN FOR TWO YEARS. What a busy year this has been for me. Normally I get one obsession every one or two years. Suddenly there's Megamind (yes, he rocks, and not metaphorically), and just as I was getting over Megs here comes Garrus (Hey, so much blue!!) This just messes up all my schedule because I can spend hours just looking around for stuff on the character, damnit. So let's see if Paul comes out in Spain already and if I like him enough (not that way tho) to at least get me off the Garrus until it's safe XD Meanwhile though we should probably just fulfill our needs with moar fanart You keep makin woman!! And maybe someday I can think of something that's not been done a thousand times, like the batman thing XD I'm batman.
By the way, I have no idea how I'd ever be able to romance someone other than Garrus, no matter how many times I play. It's physical. I just couldn't NOT romance him, I'm sure it would HURT. Thane? Oh sure, he's awesome and smexy, but GARRUUSSS!!!!

In the very little that I've seen of Garrus in ME1 he did seem more self-contained, more formal. S'cuz he still hadn't built up the confidence around his idol Shephard^^ How cute. Uh, it show's when you talk to him about "leaving c-sec and blahblah blah" he's going to say that "spectre training was something or another and blahbla" if you make him more renegade, and he's gonna tell you something about c-sec being shitty when you have paragon'ifyed him XD since when you're a paragon, you're going to tell him to play by the rules, and if you're renegade, you're going to tell him to shoot first, ask later xD And it also shows if you decide not to let him kill sidonis. If you have been renegade, he's going to be alot more butthurt about it, and tell you that "you never had problems with it before, why now?" or something like that. But other than that, i didn't notice that many changes... (I played a renegade one too... But that hurt almost as much as romancing the Thane. I AM FOREVER PARAGON XDDD )

I was like "ahahahah THIS IS MY RENEGADE SHEPARD, STOOPID GAME DAMNIT." lol, no, bobody cares about all the babies no longer being fed after Shepard saves one crew member or does something "good". i especially love one motivational thingy I read once "Kill hundreds of mercenaries to get to sidonis, tell garrus to let sidonis live" I just laughed. But I still make him let sidonis go XD it get's more interesting that way, and anyway, there were witnesses everywhere, and Fade would snitch on him like the fist of an angry god, I'm sure.

I had watched it at the theatre, but of course I'd payed for that XD SO THEY BETTER FUCKING DO IT WELL OR WE'LL BOTH GO TURIAN BATMAN ON THEIR SORRY CHEAP ASSES!!! And he can get crushed by diffrent beams... And... A lot of stuff. But all of those death can happen to anyone. And Garrus is one of the people you actually really need in the end-mission, and he rarely dies, since he's hardcore. And only way to have him die, for sure, is to give him speshul jobs in the end mission and not having done his loyalty mission. But the other stuff can happen regardless...:I

Yeah, the usual "chose one" clichΓ© that we've already discussed... Except I forgive them cuz it actually had a fun twist to it, the chosen one being so un-epic and all XD There are some pretty AWESOMESAUCE un-epic moments in the sequel that were very lol. And there's mister GARY OLDMAN! playing the bad guys, which is always a plus
OH GOD NOT SHREK 4!!! OUTRAGE! Httyd was exactly 12423 times better than that piece of bull crap. Shrek wasn't even in character! Sad thing is my little brother liked it XD Of course, the younger minds don't care much about plot or... things that make sense... And careful with that facepalming. If too outraged, it could be fatal. Though MvsA really deserves it, dunnit. God, I'm glad you agree, I dunno who on their right minds would think that movie was good. It had some things and some moments, but I swear I've never seen an animated movie whose characters (human characters, like the boyfriend) actually looked revolting to me. They were just downright unpleasant to watch. Big headed yet disturbingly realistic. DW seems to have a tendency to model and shade humans somewhat realistically yet not quite. Like Megamind having cartoony proportions but having realistic details like the eyelashes XD And Megamind actually came out real good-looking, thank goodness.
Hahlol. Blanket over TV I used to have this huge fobia of the dark and of ghosts years ago, so watching these sorts of movies at night were a big no-no. Hell, I once played this Call of C'thulhu Roll game and it took an hour for me to get to sleep, and then had to turn on the lights and read for a while to forget about the hideous, disturbingly vivid images I got from that one session. I swear, I was terrified. I knew it was stupid, but it was a feeling, and, you know, suddenly reliving seeing a dead body torn in half crawling around in a dark hallway like it was me in that house for real... It was pretty darn freaky XD But you know us humans. Masochistic beyond help. I am SO playing that game again.

He's a peacock And an evil peacock at that. He's so awesome he can even make a peacock seem evilly. The character was pretty epic, actually, he was one pretty albino derranged peacock! Plus he gawked like one a couple of times. That was awesome, they actually included a peacock yyeeeoooooooowwww in the movie Seriously, you gotta love the way the movie's done visually, it's stunning. Again, too bad for plot, but it's still not as lacking as so many others. And ditto on Lady Jolie. I used to like her, but everytime I see her she's posing =__= Plus, ever since she's so thin her head looks huge XD
I have the first two shreks, third one I've seen once and it was already meh. Fourth was outrage. The one you said about the gay prince was the second XDDD And omg, I haven't made fanart of httyd either!! I mean there are a couple of tiny doodles somewhere in my sketchbooks, but that don't count. I would most probably just have died on the spot.

I WAS a little disappointed with the Megs artbook, I admit... I was expecting a buttload of sketches, and storyboards, and concepts and especially a lot of talking about the characters. I felt ripped off, like "that's it?!?!" It's like fine cooking: yes yes very good, but I'M STILL HUNGRY!!

Hmm yah, I watched the american remake of Dark Water and it was so friggin' sad... Not like a horror movie at all. I love those movies, like Sixth sense, or Stir of Echoes. I cried so hard at the end of Dark Water. Haven't seen the japanese version though. They don't show the ghostly hair in the american one, it's like more... realistic? But holy crap, that must have scared the beejesus out of you that night XD And holy mother of crap... that's what brothers are for, I guess huh? DANG. Anyway. Scary games. I do remember when I was very young, my brother and I used to play the first ever Alone in the Dark game. The monsters were built with like three polygons each XD Now we got stuff like Penumbra. We should totally hang out and play scary games in the dark and then stay up all night cuz we can't sleep, buggin' each other. Yeah, both Amnesia and Penumbra have pretty similar mechanics. Basically you have to get out from this place, and it's dark, and you have a lantern or flashlight that can go out if you use them too much, and you have to solve some puzzles while all the while monsters show up out of nowhere and scare the crap out of ya with their growls and intense music. And the tough thing is you can't kill them. Your only hope is to run or hide in the dark and be quiet until they get tired and go away. If you stay too long in the dark or if you look at too many horrible things you lose your sanity and can eventually faint and get caught. It's pretty intense, I couldn't play it by myself, no way XD

And I don't know about numbers of suicides here, but I know that a lot of people get "Winters depression". That was basically what I had that one winter, only it was really strong since I was so tired. The days end up being just 5 hours of light at worst, so you don't get enough light and end up being depressed. You can get special lamps that produce sun-like light, that you have to sit in front of every day, that makes you feel better. It is a big problem here, that the sun decides to troll out on us up here in the north xD
