Description "Chaos Witch teleported into our base out of nowhere and took over our brains. Just spent the last 20 minutes making out with Lt. Sharna, and before the heretic teleported out she gave us a map of the enemy artillery positions... Pretty good day, all things considered.
- Pvt. Dennig, Imperial Guardsman of the Viceroyalty Hazard Corps, following an encounter with Magus Drexler.

This took me a lot of tries to get right. I mean, I still have a few concepts lying around that I might upload into my scrapbook, but this is the first one I liked enough to color. Something about the earlier attempts that didn't look right. Anyway, this is my updated drawing of Maggie Drexler, a powerful Chaos psyker of the Outcastes cult, and liaison between the Warp Caste and Blood Caste. She is the daughter of Blood Caste commander-in-chief Theodor Drexler. Born in... I think it'd be 995.M41 or so, so she'd be 18 or 19 by 14.M42 (yeah, I'm technically progressing it another year, even though I'm still not really writing anything for it, but whatever).

Maggie was born on Krieg, and quickly displayed psychic powers, and hideous mutations. Her parents loved her nonetheless, and didn't want to sacrifice her to the Astronomicon, so they kept her hidden for years from the rest of the Imperium. Her mother had a bit of a crisis about protecting her daughter or staying loyal to the Emperor, and wound up passing away either to some stress-related issue or suicide. She was eventually discovered, and her father Theodor was punished by having his daughter taken away to the Black Ship and being sent to the battlefront against the forces of Chaos. The Damned of Scipio opposed the Death Korps for much of the battle, and Rain Kryze ultimately managed to convince Drexler to defect after procuring Maggie from the Imperium. Since then, the Drexlers have been welcome additions to the Outcastes, and the Chaos cult worked closely with Magus to help perfect her psychic abilities, and fix her physical deformities. Maggie joined the Outcaste Militia very recently, and serves as a combat psyker, by far one of the most powerful in the Outcastes. She is still a novice with offensive powers, but specializes in summoning daemons. As the quote above explains, Maggie is very... eccentric. She's not far on the crazy side of the scale, but has plenty of quirks to make up for it.

As for her design, the bare legs thing was something I randomly decided on, but kept trying every time I drew her. I really love the design now. Earlier on, I planned to base her design, and by extension those of the other Krieg characters in the Outcastes, on the Hessian JΓ€gers from Assassins Creed III, who I thought had a really great design in that game. I couldn't draw the hat, I'm sorry, but I like how the gas-mask came out (Maggie and her father both retain gas-masks as a nod to their Krieger heritage), especially the eye lenses.

Hope you guys like the design. Comment, and enjoy!

A space marine would most likely do what happened in Space Marines....shoot at it from afar...

Maggie can be nice every now and then. She'd probably turn you into chocolate, though.

Beautiful design, I really like how she turned out. And the backstory is fantastic too. Dark but kind of happy/rewarding too... and I do have a soft spot for the eccentric
