It looks like you used tissue paper or polythene to diffuse the flash

I agree with the blurriness issue, but you know, the ever so slight blur gives it that soft touch, which I think looks really nice.
If your camera has a manual focus option and you want a sharper pic close-up, use it and the results will be sharper.

Well to be honest, I don't know that much about my camera. I know that it's digital and how to make pictures black'n'white and stuff like that. Not incredibly sure about sharpening pictures.

i really like your composition, but i think this photo is just a little too blurry. i would say it's soft otherwise, but i think there's just a little too much softness to really bring out the delicate quality of the flower.

Thanks a lot for the crit, it's very much appreciated. I know it's a bit blurry, but that's just because of how close I took it. I dunno.
