I doodled this in my sketchbook yesterday and finished lining and coloring it today.

I remember seeing this awhile ago and only knowing Uni and Cory. I was so goddamn confused on who the others were. And I had made a point, "I won't ever like them, sadly" and here I am now, watching their videos, streams, supporting them and drawing them art and all that good stuff. Man, time does fly by

How did you learn to do the clothes ripples and folds?

Oh for that you just need to pay a close eye to actual fold designs and then try to think where theΒ
folds may be. An example would be the part where the arm bends near the elbow, that would have folds if it wereΒ
bending. If you want to portray bigger clothes then you add more folds and ripples, if the clothes is tighter thenΒ
you only add to places that will bend like the arms and legs. I also add ripples near the stomach area when the characters
bend forward. I'm not an expert when it comes to clothes but I would say to pay attention to real clothing andΒ
put folds mostly on places where the body can bend which is what I do. Hope this helped somewhat :'DΒ

Its usually very hard for me to actually like my style since I've been changing it a lot throughout the years so this means a hellofa lot OvO
I've had even my closest friends criticize my work and say that my artwork used to look very creepy/weird/ugly in my old cartoon style and that I should just stick with anime or people telling me that I'd probably only be able to make shojo anime art in my future. But comments like this really make me happy to continue drawing and trying my best to improve >v<

Β I was just frustrated on how my coloring wasn't consistent. Every artist has something they don't like about their work even if they practice for years and their work looks perfect. Its just a matter of knowing whats wrong so you can improve on it.Β Β
Also, anatomy is hard, I struggled for years on how to get that right too. Don't worry it takes years to get used to things and looking through your gallery I can see that you have a nice sense of proportion for the body. So I am certain that with time you'll improve even more. ^ ^
