I think this is a good piece but I am not sure its finished, Ever heard of a burnisher or a color blender?

that will smooth out the drawing and make it look less grainy.

Great drawing love it!

Thank you for this comment
Yes this drawing is finished. I know the colors is not so intensief.
Thank you for the tip with the burnisher and color blender.
I have a normal blender, that i use for the background but that works normal.
Do you think a color blender is diffent between a normal blender?
And i never have heard about a burnisher, what is that????
Use you that for the fur or background?

thank you for helping me, that appreciate i a lot

the burnisher is another name for the color blender and a color blender is made specifically for colored pencils a normal blended is used for graphite pencil drawings.

it just makes the drawing pop especially if it is used for the eyes of animals

I don't have much to say , just that the color of the horse seems too soft .
But the anatomy of the horse is perfect and his eyes is really cute and lively !

Did you use a reference picture ?

Yes i know from the color. The original has a better color, but the horse has a soft color.
maybe it is the kind of paper, do you know why?
And i can not make it better with fotoshopping, i don't know how i use that right.

And yes i have use a reference picture, that use i Always.

I think this is a terrific equine drawing Nynke,

I agree with ZiskaJa evaluation so could not really add any more suggestions to the ones she  has already  made,'
I think the anatomy of the  horse is excellent and in perfect proportions. The detail and highlight in  the eye is perfect and looks so realistic. Great job on the detail and texture of the bridle and harness.

Out side of the same suggestion she made to add extra shadows to add more volume and depth to the horse, I feel you have done a tremendous job on this drawing.

Really great drawing! The proportions are absolutely perfect.

Great word on all the details on the horse's harness. I really love the shadow it casts on the fur, makes it look very plastical.

I think maybe it wouldlook better if the fur itself had stronger shadows as well. Especially on the neck, underneath the jawline.

Great job on the mane. I love the highlights, that you did in white. Some of those would have looked great on the rest of the fur as well. as highlights and to make the hair look more realistic.

All in all, this is an amazing drawing, good job!
