This one has been sitting around in my stash for a while, it's probably time that I post it.A watercolor piece I did of my characters, Aurulia (left) who has light powers, and Mayah (right) who has shadow powers. Though the two of them are incredibly different, they still have a powerful relationship. Like day and night they compliment each other.

Done with watercolors and pencil. Color correction done in Photoshop.

Well let's see... She has blue hair, which you can see lol. She is blind but can see in the dark, and has the power to manipulate darkness and shadows. She is mostly nocturnal because she can't do much in the day and prefers the night.
Her black teardrop tattoo is like a prison tattoo that represents having killed someone, she's killed a lot of people though. The star tattoo represents light against darkness and hope that she won't have to remain in the dark for forever. She traded her ability to see for her magic and longs desperately to be able to see again and live in the light. And she's also super gay.
