Something quick.I've been at an impasse with my art lately. Hence the storing everything all the time. I finally came to the conclusion that I should use my DA for fun drawings, personal artwork that I enjoy.
I haven't cell shaded anything in 2 years. I forgot how much I enjoyed it.
I'm slowly getting back into doing pictures for the fun of it - something I haven't done since deciding to go to art school over 3 years ago.

awesome picture, the style is really neat and wow, the tiger is just, amazing. Nice use of different blues and purple. the reflection seems a bit strange to me though, because it doesn't follow the water's surface, but this is a really cool picture.

It's basically a more blocky cartoony way of shading. Some gradient cell shading exist too, but yeah.
Gradient shading is another type which is more realistic like, since it don't suddenly go from one color to another.:

I adore cell shading. I've tried various other styles of shading, but I always come back to this. It is a very saturated picture, but it's very beautiful all the same. Great effect on the water!

duplicate the layers and use motion blur
