An old sketch I decided to paint.It's acrylic. I don't know how long I spent on it. Maybe 8 or 9 hours.

This is one of the best white lion pieces I have seen by far! They are such a priviledge to draw, I shall have to do more myself soon, thank you for being so inspiring!
The blue/purple colour in the background is perfectly reflected in his fur. Just love this to bits!Β

Alas, the original is sold, and wasn't terribly big, but I could probably do a poster sized without really losing a lot of detail.Β

I absolutely love this painting; I recently lost my cat, Riffiki; who I loved deeply, and miss him so much, when I look at this painting, the look on your lions face is exactly the same as him and I imagine this is how he looks in heaven..I'm so grateful for this painting, and wish I could buy it, do you sell any of your prints? Β You are truly an amazing artist.

Whenever I look at amazing art like this, it's hard to imagine that it started out a blank page or canvas. I know that with pencil, I could create something like this in a few weeks. But with paint? It would take years. :3

Snow lions, why do these not exist? What kind of brush do you use in order to get those fine strokes on the fur?

I love it. I love lions but most artistic depictions don't charm me. This one does.
