Description This picture was done at the same time as my "Chimp" picture. The issue of Science I used as a reference also included a little lab mouse in it, so I did a marker drawing of it. I liked it, since he really does resemble quite nicely the mice we use here in lab.

Oh - by the way - I LOVE rodents, and have had pet rats for about 15 years now. They are AMAZING pets - sweet, smart and affectionate.

Ah little mousie! I know it's for science and stuff... but I hate it they use those little fellas in lab because I got many pet mice and they are such nice little critters!

If you wanna see some, come by my gallery!

I've always loved rodents, and I still do.
The only reasons I go to the pet store nowadays is to get dog food and gawk at rats and gerbils.

I always feel so sorry for the animals at the local pet store. They really don't seem to have enough room or affection. Well, the dogs, anyway.

The rats and mice and gerbils seem to do quite well in small spaces.

Aww, such a cutie pie! <3
I love rodents so much, 2 of mine died this year , at least I stil got the guinea pig. I don't think I could ever experiment on rodents in ways that could possibly hurt them. I mean, I'm not against doing it for SCIENCE and medecin's sakes, but I could never do it myself.
But anyway, YEAH, great job.

Thanks so much!! I've never actually owned any sort of rodents, but people have told me that they're very cute and lovable! I believe it! I work with mice in the lab, but we try to be as humane as possible. Plus, we're learning important things, so it makes it worthwhile! Do you have any pets now?

Yes, a 9 year old Dog (half Golden Retriver half Miniature Shnowzer-try not to think too hard about how that happened ) and a 2ish year old Guiane Pig (sp) I'll just call her a Cavy, named Mo. Mo's all mine, cause I brought her home with out permission and begged to keep her, there's alot more to that story, but I won't get into it. x3 I found her at a pet store that wasn't exactly of high quality, and she was in an open wooden cage with like 15 other Guinea Pigs, and she just looked so sad. So I picked her up for my friend who was with me casue her pug had just died and I thought she might like haveing a new one, but tuirned out her parents didn't want her to have one 0.0...so I got stuck with it, and I'm glad I did! I guess I did get into telling the story. XD
My sister and I had 2 long haired male hamsters, but my lil sis' died this past January, and mine this past April.

And my older sister use to have rats, but she hates rodents now.

It was so nice of you to rescue Mo! I'm sure she loves her new home and appreciates having you as an owner!

Rats are fun pets, I hear. They can be very affectionate.

I've never had any rodents, though. My family always owned one dog. I don't have any pets, currently, though, because I don't have any time to take care of one.

Yeah, they say that rats are the most well tempered of all rodents.

Excellent job on the mouse...I myself have such a hard time with the shape of animal *ears.* This little mouse's ears turned out lovely. ^^ Maybe I'll use them as reference...
