Duddle uh... I lost count... 20!I had huge issues getting anything decent drawn today. I've got three or four aborted attempts at pictures that just didn't cut the mustard, but thankfully the idea for this one came to me when I took a break and got a bagel.
Maybe I'll revisit some of the discarded old crap at some point, but I'm not sure any of it is good enough to merit that.
Aaaanyway, I've drawn this girl before, but she looked a bit different last time - it was a loooong time ago. She's had a haircut among other things. I think the original picture is circa 2004, so it's not on my website at the moment... maybe one day I'll get around to putting those old things up.
Enjoy! I went a bit nuts with the colouring, and perhaps it is eye-meltingly overdone, but hopefully it isn't toooooo bad :3

Like everyone else, the lighting really struck me. Are the swords glowing, and that is the cause of the effect? Either way, awesome, and I love the armor design.

That was the idea :3 To be honest it would've worked better if I'd made the background darker. I think it would've all made more sense, and it would've been easier to make the swords look obviously glowy against something other than plain white XD

My personal favorite was the one with Aryn (or at least I think it was her)in the tight black leather with the guns...you know, the one on the cover of your book. I remember seeing it for the first time and, like, shorting out my keyboard due to the excessive amounts of saliva that had dripped onto it. XD
