Don't read too much into the title, I just picked it because I drew it while waiting for the bus this morning. Yes, gasp, I drew something on paper and then dumped some quick CG colours on later. It didn't scan amazingly well along one side because of the sketchbook binding, but I don't think it's terribly noticeable. Wouldn't be the first time if I was wrong, though...Very loosely inspired by something that stuck in my head (I don't really feel like specifying - you'll never know, tee hee). It does at least show that sitting around and being lazy *can* be beneficial with regards to artiness XD
Took about half an hour to sketch, probably about as long again to tidy up (went over with a darker pencil), and then a bit more to crudely shade the thing in Photoshop.

I didn't notice the fuzz on the lines till you mentioned it, and even then it's hard to spot. You're in the clear. Is that Ria, or just another sketchy girl? Very good either way, but it's got a bit of a Ria feel, at least to me.

Always loved your work, drcloud! This one is great, even if it's "just a sketch". Nothing makes a piece of ordinary paper look hot more than a great anime sketch. And what makes it good to me is that you just did it... it didn't have to be perfect, but the absence of pressure really helps create a better working mood. Anyway, you can see the emotion and beauty in the image as is. Keep up the great work!

It's funny. These kind of rough sketchy things probably work out well sometimes because I don't stress over them as much as I do "proper" pictures. I also think that wonderful though digital art is, there's something about stuff done on paper that's missing (well, in my case anyway).
