Doug Jenkins had dreams of being a basketball star. He was well on his way being taller than everyone else in his senior year of high-school. That is until the HomoPipsqueakus Virus struck. HPV for short. It had happened to so many people that they were considered to be a new race of humans now.

Presently he looks way up to his stepsister Katy who watches his affliction with delight and thrill. Reveling in the role reversals that they now endure. Their family in desperation has allowed a scientific firm to chronicle Doug's affliction in return for picking up all of his medical bills and providing him his new clothing at each stage of his size reduction. The scientific team even added a basketball for scale and perhaps comic relief to the scene.
