Hi. I wanted to stop in and say hi, as I love anime style art and enjoy putting it on my Facebook profile as well as keeping it on my computer to look at. I randomly stumbled across a copy of this art on the internet and put it up on my Facebook page as my profile pic. I try to credit all other art I do this with, as I rarely use photographs of myself or my own art as Facebook avatars, but of course it is virtually impossible to credit everything as there is such a problem with art theft on the internet. My good friend Greg Benjamin pointed out that he knew the artist who had done the work and politely asked me to take it down. So I did, and because he also gave me the link to the original, I came by to favorite your work because I like it so much. I gave Greg the link to the site I found it on and he said he will address it. Just FYI this is where I saw your image: [link] I hate watermarks but love posting my art on DeviantArt and also on my blog [link] etc. so I just do my best to keep a low profile and as yet I haven't seen any of my art reproduced anywhere but in places I put it myself, but if someone steals my art I would appreciate people letting me know so I wanted to do the same for you. Again, this is incredible work and I apologize for posting it on Facebook without proper credit. Art theft is deplorable and as an artist myself I am doing everything I can to discourage it, including honoring requests to take down other people's artwork that I post on Facebook. I wouldn't want other people to take my work without asking and I wanted to let you know that was not my intent. Peace
