Description
Linework of a kirin that I decided to finish for myself. I tried to push my limits and *try* to do scales. I know that there's many small mistakes and that they aren't even, but I am satisfied with the result.Also, pencilwork on the face shows the markings that I may want to paint on if I decide to color this baby.

Honestly I do not notice the mistakes you are talking about. What I see is a ridiculously gorgeous lineart of a Kirin in motion. The way you drew this, with the mane and tail flying back, neck stretched forward, truly gives a perfect impression of this beautiful creature bolting across the land with speed and grace <3
I love the scales, everything about the scales, as I too struggle drawing them as well and I think you did a fabulous job at it! And the detail in the hair fluff is amazing ;_;
I struggle all the time doing lineart. Does not help that I do not have the proper tools, hope to change that soon. Really amazing work. Lots of admiration for how wonderful this turned out! Do more! <3

I love the sense of speed in this, the flowing mane and tail look amazing! So does the design of the kirin itself (especially the shoulder and tail scales.)

Well, the main thing I notice on the scales

Pfft Kara they look amazing, far better than anything I could have come up with - they look very natural - I especially love the shoulder and flank scales!
