Second Character Appearance Unlocked!!!!The grumpy flower himself, Medashi Hanabira finally makes his appearance!
On the left here, you see Medashi during Years 1-3 during the Academy. Back then, he was a short little thing and he was still getting the hang of being around other kids his age. The only two people he tolerates (he won't admit they're his friends for nothing! XD) are Koichi Nagano and Kiyoko Tenkou and he mostly hangs out with them more than anyone else. Around this time, he had also made a rival out of Linali Warashi, whom he dubs "Warugaki" by her brat-like behavior. To this day, he still doesn't know how the rivalry started, but he's not gonna back down from someone who challenges him.
On the right, you see him in Years 4-5 during the Academy. At this age, Medashi's has grown a lot in height and his personality still hasn't changed that much. The only time it does change is when he's around Linali, which is not a good thing for those who know the rivalry between them. Medashi is still a prideful little thing, which is good to a certain degree but it doesn't help him when he gets in trouble and in detention from being sassy with the teachers. Around this age, he finally accepts Kiyoko and Koichi as his best friends and he cherishes them dearly. Also, Medashi's cold demeanor is swayed more easily when he's in Kiyoko's presence.
Yes, even as a child, he acts more like a pricky thorn than a cherry blossom.
Medashi: *looks* Shut up.
Me: What did I say?!

Me: *watching the conversation unfold from afar*
Medashi: I'm Medashi Hanabira, one of the older and more serious members of the Hanabira Clan. I'm 15 years old and I'm currently known as the resident grumpy flower in the village by most of the people in the Academy. My hobbies are reading scroll stories involving deduction and mystery, writing original songs and playing the Shamisen, and training. My strongest talent is that I can imitate different voice; especially that of a woman. My favorite foods are cherry blossom riceballs, Tokatsu, and Japanese Cake Rolls and my least favorites are Umi and Nakotsu. My personality is on the harsh side, but if you're patient and be around me enough, you'll see my softer side.

Daichi: well i was told that my mum used to play it, that it made her happy
so...... i wanna try it and dont worry im a fast learner

Medashi: All right, then. I'll teach you. *gives him a small card with the Hanabira symbol on it and it has his address and information on it* Come to my place around noon. I look forward to teaching you.

Medashi: *currently in his room playing a music piece on his acoustic guitar. Next to him was a small plate filled with riceballs, Japanese roll cakes, and other goodies for him to eat. Next to the plate was a small glass of green tea to accompany his meal and it was currently 11:50 am. When he strummed the last note on the guitar, he stopped. He figured he need at least ten minutes to recover before his guest would arrive. Taking the glass of tea in his hand, he took some sips of it and sighed in content* Man, grams sure know how to make some green tea...
Me: Awww, this is such a sweet side of Medashi. This only comes out when he's involved with his music!

Me: DAICHI!!! *knock on the door several times* open op your gonna be late
Daichi: sweet lord *opens the door* what the heck ...?! what ?
Me: Daichi your getting late *show time* like always
-Daichi noticed the time and ran back in the house to get ready, and yet again Daichi
was running late like always-
Daichi: im ready, lets go !
Me: move it !!!

Medashi: *looking at the time and it was 11:59am. His guest was running late and Medashi's brow had twitched from that fact. It was one thing he didn't like and if his guest didn't appear in one more minute, he was gonna go in the house and sleep for the afternoon.* Where the hell are you, Nogamo? I don't have all fucking day.
Me: Uh oh. Daichi, hurry up and get there!!!

Me: WE MADE IT !!! we actually made it
Daichi: ..... errr ... sorry im late, i overslept im really sorry
Me: *walks to you* im so tired sometimes i hate Daichi
