• the necklace is a gift passed down from his grandpa, and he almost never removes it
his grandpa was the chief on their reserve, and raised raz and his two younger sisters along with his grandma, since their parents died when they were young (he's the only one of the three who have solid memories of them)

they become fast friends (jokingly calling each other their "gay best friend"), and raziel is jay's best man at his and zodiac's wedding 'u`
he also helps out jay when he decides to start up his own photography business and raz comes to dabble a bit in modelling through him, and also supports zodiac by securing really good gigs for his band and making sure it's always a full house and stuff. perfect PR man ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

• fun bonus fact; when they first met, raz was subtly scoping out jay to check if he was gay and available
until jay mentioned his 'fiancé' and then he immediately backed off and they became close friends instead lol

the lovely daycare lady they frequently leave mei with, and the two immediately hit it off, becoming a sort of "open relationship" type deal, where both still see other people and don't mind, but are the most dear to each other and spend time with each other the most often. he rarely ever refers to her as his "gf" or "girlfriend", just "my lady" or like "my darling", and he's her "man" or "love" haha

kai finds this serene beautiful centaur guy intriguing so offers him some services at a discount (raziel still insisting on paying him full because he respects good work), but they hit it off enough that they continue meeting up casually for a while, and raz somewhat unintentionally ends up becoming his dom/sugar daddy lol
raz is in his early thirties at this point and kai is only 19 but doesn't mention that until after their first rendez-vous: raz is initially a little uncomfy at the age gap but kai is like "bruh I'm the one who instigated this and I've been an adult for years now, it is fine," (most non-human races hit the age of majority at 16 rather than 18) so he ends up deciding there's not really a weird power dynamic (besides the intended fun kind) and keeps seeing him
