UPDATE: i went through and added some lighting effects and also adjusted the colors a bit.. then added those little circle things.. because it was kind boring with out something in the forground... lemme know what you thinkMeet Nao!
This is my OC, probably the first one that i have really developed... She's about 17, and it quite the Spitfire, she is very agile and prefers to fight using throwing knives. She's the daughter of a important noble, but she hates the well-to-do life, and would rather be running around town getting causing trouble for the cruel "law enforcers"* then sitting around being tutored and catered to all day. As far as personality goes, shes kind and has a strong sense of justice, but is rather short-tempered, and headstrong, she prides herself in her fighting abilities and usually cant turn down a challenge.
* (law enforcers) i havent come up with a name for them yet, but there is a group of "law enforcers" that are more like gangs than anything else (but is part of the government?...)

So is the jewel she's wearing emitting some sort of spell? You aren't planning on writing a story with her as one of the characters are you?

Now, I haven't seen a "full" piece of art like this from you for a while, so all this time I've been getting on with the business of being enthralled with your quick sketches and other works, as always, which frankly are always amazing, but this takes the biscuit. And a very big biscuit it is as well. Chocolate chips too.
Smashing stuff. Makes me very happy to see it, and happy that I discovered you in the first place. "Talented" would be an understatment.

i was so excited about this picture at first, then i realized it wasnt as awesome as i hoped it would be and there were alot of things i could have done better :/ but i learned alot of new tricks with photoshop and SAI along the way so ill get to work on bigger and better
