Self portrait for my "Understanding Form and Function" class. (scientific illustration program)I really like how this picture seems like she wants you to follow her.

This is a wonderful piece of art. Not only is your technical command of the medium showcased, but your compositional skills also shine. The placement of the figure perfectly balances the "light at the end of the tunnel." I really like the expression. It's cheeky, flirty, challenging, mysterious and beckoning all at once. The body language suggests to me that she's about to take off running any second now and I'd just better keep up or else! The diffuse light seems otherworldly and I truly wonder just what is down that alley.
