This is a damn cool shot. i prefer it to the other sunset one but only just, the other has a cooler sky but the composition of this one is far superior to the other. I'd love to give it a fav but it goes against all my natural instincts! LOL!

No, it really was a sunset. I was going to blur the sun a bit more to make it look more natural but decided to stick with the surreal version.

this is nice, I love how the sun hides behind the tree and those sunlights come throught the leaves, love this misty touch of it, like fog is coming up

Thanks. The misty effect was the result of a gap between the adjustment layers in PS. I was going to redo it but then thought, 'actually that misty effect is kinda cool'. So thanks for noticing it !
