The moon wasn't originally there, but I did take it in the same spot and time, justing facing the other direction (and obviously a different focal length).Also the light in the foreground was taken again and merged in photoshop to bring out the detail in the light which originally got completely burnt out.

Nice, I really like the shot and the composition. How do you like the D70? I am thinking about getting one, is it as awesome as I hope it to be?

It is certainly a nice bit of kit, i personally preferred the feel of it over the Canon 300D. Good points : battery life, instant on, fast buffering, high shutter speed, up to 30mins long exposure, low noise, it's a Nikon ! Bad points : Limited 200-1600 ISO, expensive accessories. Think about what lenses you need as well. I bought the 12-24 and 28-200 lenses but I'm finding it hard coping with the small gap between focal lengths. An 18-70 may of been a better option.

Great thanks! I am quite nikon loyal, and hopefully I can take the nikon and the canon back to back and try them out, but I'm pretty sure that the nikon will win out!

ah, love the colors, the blue sky is beautiful
The moon is a nice touch, however, I think it would have looked just as good without it...it sort of takes away from the light. yet, at the same time it sort of balances it out...
Love the lines of the boards-n-stuff, very nice...
