Choosing a path...Except this time she seems to know her way around. Nice necklace, Sarah.
I figured it was high time I made a pen drawing of Labyrinth fanart. I have a sketchbook filled with these stylized versions of the labyrinth and I had the urge to flesh one out more fully.

Working in pen is usually my method of choice. It's fun because of the amount of detail you can put into it and you have no opportunity to erase. It's a fun challenge. Thanks so much!

This is a lovely sketch. I love the fluid lines of the girl and the tree against the straight lines of the walls. The little details of the creatures throughout the piece are wonderful details. I don't know if you meant this or not, but it looks as if her arm is turning into the branch, which is an interesting effect. Her face and eyes are quite lovely. I love the lips and eyes especially. Great piece.

Thank you. Lol actually it wasn't intentional to begin with that her arm would flow into the tree, it just sort of worked out that way, but I was pleased with it. Any time I can convey the idea that Sarah is being absorbed or accepted by the Labyrinth I will take advantage of it. It's one of my fav ideas.
